⚝ Saki's Photo Dump~
More of random collections of screenshots I've collected over my many years of using the web. From multiple games and websites there is quite a selection here (ALOT of minecraft screenshots because they are pretty)
One thing I will admit is I really enjoy taking screenshots in games as sort of memory capsules where I can eventually go back months or even years later to reminisce about past joys. Sometimes It's sad sure because of memories tied to it but im glad any of them happened at all in the end.
Along with this I truly believe that screenshots are important and count as an artform in some cases. Some details about why they are so important are here.
Rain: Cozy And Calming
This is from the game "Sky : Children Of The Light". This screenshot was actually one of the last screenshots I took before I stopped playing (May play again sometime in the future). But this game is one of the most visually appealing games I've ever played. Along with this the community is (usually) very welcoming! The area in the picture is of the Hidden Forest where it rains constantly. That atmostphere is such a cozy vibe in my opinion.
The Bonfire
This picture is from Minecraft, but its so much more than that, this is one of my largest builds I've done, remastered over time about 3 or 4 times. This is part of a build project ive created called "The Grid Project" where there are 3x3 areas each 25x25 blocks wide. Each one having a unique build on it. Some builds spanning multiple plots, this being one of them. This project Ive tried twice before, but this picture is from the most active one by far, with the most progress out of any of them. With currently 110+ Hours as of last checked
Struggle
This is from the game Celeste, a VERY difficult platformer. This game I hold closely, its about overcoming challenges and learning to accept every part of you, even the ones you percieve as evil. My current save file (Not my firsts) has over 11,000 deaths! The struggle this game puts on you is deep. And the want for progress is deeper. Theres a quote at the end of the game actually of "It's hard to believe that its over, isn't it? Funny how we get attached to the struggle..." where people are so used to struggling that when they finally overcame the challenges. You almost feel lost on what to do now. I relate heavily with the game and dont think anything will spark as much emotion as this
